Courtney Holm follows head coach Amber Bowman to Purdue Fort Wayne after joining her as an assistant coach at Division II Davenport for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Her first season with the Mastodons was 2022. She was promoted to a full-time assistant coach role prior to the 2024 season.

In her first season as a coach with the 'Dons, she served as the first base coach for the 7-42 Mastodons. In year three, the Mastodons finished seventh in the Horizon League, their best league since 2019.

Holm, a native of Crown Point, Ind. began her collegiate playing career at South Suburban College in South Holland, Ill. In her two seasons with the Bulldogs, the outfielder hit .421 and .463.

Holm then transferred to play for the Mastodons when Bowman was an assistant coach. She appeared in a total of 83 games in two seasons with 53 starts. The right-hander registered two or more hits in a game five times as a senior.

Courtney graduated from IPFW in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in general studies while minoring in both communication and sociology. She received her master's degree in management from Davenport while coaching with Bowman.
