2009: Named to the Summit League Academic All-League squad...Played and started 34 games during the season, going 10-for-64 at the plate with five runs scored and four driven in...Started at three of the four infield positions; second base, shortstop, and third base...Picked up her first hit, a double, against Youngstown State on March 11, before adding a hit later in that same day against Robert Morris...Had a three-game hit streak started in the final game against Centenary, and carried over to the first two games of their series against Southern Utah...Drove in her first run against Southern Utah onMarch 21 when she reached on a bases-loaded fielder[apos]s choice...Drove in another run against Dayton on March 31...Scored the winning run of the game against UMKC on April 3...Picked up a hit in back-to-back games on April 4 in the finale against UMKC and the opener against South Dakota State...Had a hit, run, andrundriven in against Western Illinois on May 1.
HIGH SCHOOL: Batted .354 for the Penn Kingsmen as a senior, with an on-base percentage of .416, with 20 RBI[apos]s, 22 runs scored, 10 sacrifice bunts and five stolen bases...Was named to the Academic All-State Honorable Mention squad...Earned All-Northern Indiana Conference Second Team honors as a shortstop as a senior, and third team honors as a second baseman during her sophomore season...Along with current IPFW teammate Ashley Carrico, the pair helped Penn to a sectional championship in 2005, 2006 and 2008, falling in the first round of the regional championships in all three seasons...She also competed on the Metro squad in the inaugural Sports Fest, consisting of seniors that comprise four teams in the greater Michiana area, divided by geographic areas (East, West, Metro and Michigan).
