HIGH SCHOOL: Was a member of the 2011 Canadian Junior National Team that competed at the World Championships in Cape Town, South Africa ... Franklin batted .500 (8-of-16) with 13 runs scored, five RBI, and five stolen bases, as the team went 12-2 during the qualifying tournament, with Franklin earning six starts, and seeing action in 11 contests .
