2010: Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team...Batted .280 on the season, fifth best on the team, with a team-leading 13 stolen bases...Her stolen base total finished as the sixth highest single-season total in school history...Scored 22 times while drawing 16 walks and driving in a pair...Had a four-hit game in the second game of the season against Southeast Missouri State, and had a five-game hitting streak early in the season, which drove her batting average to a season-high total of .440 after back-to-back two-hit games against Winthrop and Morgan State...Had a trio of doubles during the season, and stole two bases in a game against Morgan State on February 28...Went 5-of-9 in a three-game series with IUPUI with two runs scored and a double...Had three outfield assists during the year.
2009: Played in 35 games during the year, starting 27 in the outfield...Stole a team-high six bases, while batting .208 with 16 hits in 77 at-bats...scored 10 times and drove in three runs, including the game-winning RBI against UMKC on April 3...Scored a run in the season opener against Fairfield, while picking up her first hit a day later against Holy Cross...Went 3-for-3 against South Dakota, 1-for-4 against Youngstown State and 2-for-3 against Robert Morris, a three-game stretch in which she hit .600 (6-of-10)...Drove in a run in back-to-back games against Youngstown State and Robert Morris...Had a five-game hitting streak starting on March 24 at Detroit, and ending after an 0-2 game at home against Eastern Michigan on April 1...Went 2-for-3 against IUPUI in the middle of that stretch.
2008: Played in 38 games during the year, starting 27...Recorded her first collegiate hit on March 9 against Butler...Had a hit in three straight games, Butler, and both games on march 10 against Yale and Penn...Drove in her first collegiate run against Penn on March 10...Stole bases in back-to-back games on April 6 and 8 against UMKC and Ball State...Had a five-game hit streak late in the season, starting on April 30 against Wright State, and continuing until May 9 against Centenary in the Summit League Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Team Most Valuable Player in 2007...Was named to the All-Metro softball team...Helped Riley High School to sectional wins in 2004 and 2006, and Northern Indiana Conference Championships in 2005 and 2007...Was a four-year letterwinner each in softball and volleyball.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Bill and Katie Swanson...Has two sisters, Jenny and Maggie, both of whom played softball at the University of Indianapolis...Majoring in speech and hearing therapy.
