2009-2010 SEASON
As a junior, Kobayashi was 11-10 overall (3-0 SL) in singles play...in doubles, the Mastodon duo of Kobayashi and Raquel Vescovi went 20-6 overall (9-0 SL)...Kobayashi and Vescovi had the best Summit League record during the season, and helped IPFW win the 2009-2010 Summit League championship...Kobayashi received a spot on the ITA Scholar Athlete list.

2008-2009 SEASON
In her first season at IPFW, Kobayashi stepped on the court and made an instant impact for the Mastodons...she spent most of the season as the 'Dons No. 3 singles player, totaling a spring record of 16-9, (4-1)...in doubles, she teamed with Ingrid Ballus for a 16-9 (5-3) record...like many of her teammates, Kobayashi received second team all-conference accolades for a fine sophomore season.

BEFORE IPFW
Kobayashi transferred from Western Michigan to IPFW after her freshman year...while at Western Michigan, Kobayashi compiled a singles record of 5-6 and a doubles record of 3-11...in 2007, she won the ITA Summer Circuit consolation draw at Indiana University.

Yuka is the daughter of Yoshimasa and Hiromi Kobayashi...has one sister, Ayana...biology major at IPFW.
