2008: Named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team, and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence...Named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 22, as she had 20, 22, and 22 digs in the three matches during the week...Reached double-figure digs in 20 of the 20 matches she played in, and had at least eight digs in five of the nine that she missed...Had at least 20 digs in a game eight times on the season, including a season-best 31 at South Dakota State on November 8...Had a long streak of five straight double-digit dig games, and three times of four straight games...Totaled 429 digs on the season, the sixth highest single-season total since 2001...Added 16 service aces, two kills and 36 assists...Her 31 assists against South Dakota State is the fourth highest single-match total in IPFW's rally-scoring era in a five-set match...Her 28 digs in the season finale against Miami ranks as the sixth highest four-set total since 2001...Her 20 digs against Eastern Michigan (September 16), and Oral Roberts (October 31), both of which were wins for the 'Dons, ranked as a tie for the ninth highest rally-scoring era total for a three-set match.
2007: Dug out 308 kill attempts on the year, the 14th most in a season in school history...Her 2.61 digs per match average is the 22nd highest total for IPFW...Had 13 double digit-dig games during the season, including two times in which she went back-to-back games with double figures...Finished second on the team with 118 sets played, as she appeared in all 32 matches during the year, starting three...Ended the year with the third most digs on the team, behind Jankowski's 635 and Cynara Martins' 343...The 308 digs, in addition to ranking in the overall season records, is the fourth most ever put up by an IPFW sophomore, behind just the aforementioned Martins and Jankowski, in addition to former assistant coach Fabiana Souza...The 24 service aces that she accrued throughout the year marks the sixth highest total by a Mastodon in their sophomore year...Her 23 digs on November 24 against Valparaiso is the fifth most ever by a sophomore at IPFW in a four-set match...Added 19 digs against Oakland on September 23, the ninth most in a game by an IPFW sophomore player...Had 17 and 18 digs in a game 10 days apart; the first on October 13 at Western Illinois, marking the 12th highest total in a five-set match; added 18 against Xavier on October 23, the 10th highest five-set total in the IPFW record books.
2006: Finished the year with 209 digs, 13 service aces, 18 assists and five kills...Had eight double-figure dig games during the year, with all eight coming in the final 18 games of the season...Over the last 18 games, Schwartz averaged 8.9 digs per match, opposed to the 3.8 she averaged in the first 13 matches of the year.
High School: Schwartz was a two-sport athlete at Adams Central...In volleyball, she was named to the All-State First Team in 2005 and helped lead the Jets to the 2003 and 2005 state semi-finals...She was named to the Indiana All-Star team in 2005 after setting the school record in assists...Schwartz was a 2004 and 2005 All-Allen County Athletic Conference (ACAC) First Team member and was named to the league's honorable Mention squad in 2003...In basketball, Schwartz set the school record for steals, and received the HEART award in 2004 and 2006...She was twice named to the All-ACAC First Team (2003-04 and 2005-06) and to the honorable mention squad once (2004-05)...She earned Academic All-Conference honors for both volleyball and basketball during her senior year.
Personal: Is the daughter of Matt and Shelly Schwartz...Has one sister, Jeana and two brothers, Jarod and Josh...Majoring in organizational leadership and supervision (OLS).
