IPFW Wraps Up Fall at Dayton in Fifth

DAYTON, Ohio - The IPFW women's golf team wrapped up their fall schedule today at the Dayton Fall Invitational. After 36 holes the 'Dons finished in 5th out of 10 teams.
The Mastodons rounded out the tournament with a 655. Oakland won the invitational with a team score of 637.
Katie Gallagher of Dayton took top individual honors with a 151.
IPFW was led by Abbey Waltke, who finished tied for seventh with a 160.
Jillian Speece was just one stroke behind with a 161 and finished tied for 11th.
Alison Rathsman wrapped up the 'Dons in the top 25. She was tied for 21st with a 166.
The Mastodons will now prepare for their spring schedule which starts in Florida in March. The 'Dons will head to the Butler North/South Intercollegiate on March 11th and 12th. The tournament will be held in Jacksonville Beach, Florida at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Course.
