'Dons Compete at Hillsdale "Gina" Relays

Fort Wayne, IN-IPFW had a great performance at the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays over the weekend, breaking two school records and establishing multiple personal bests.
The 4x400 relay team of Marta Flippen, Nan Moore, Kaitlin Shifley, and Susan Odipo broke the relay record with a time of 4:05.84.
Individually, Brooke Newman reset her previous record in the pole vault with a jump of 3.20m.
Val Hardesty had three personal bests on the day in the 3,000m steeplechase, 1,500m run, and 800m run. Joining her were Crystal Martinez with a personal best in the 10,000m run, while Mary Ballinger and Annina Gruber each had had their best performance in the 3,000m steeplechase.
Coach Fruchey was impressed with the team's efforts saying, "Hillsdale was a great success for the entire team and we are looking forward to the Butler Twilight Meet next weekend!"
The 'Dons will travel to Indianapolis to compete in the Stan Lyons Twilight meet this coming weekend to close out their season.
