2009 Stanford Invitational Complete Results 
Palo Alto, CA - IPFW senior Crystal Martinez broke her own school record in the 10,000-meter run late Friday night, taking sixth in her section at the Stanford Cardinal Invitational.
Martinez' time of 35:14.50 topped the previous school record, a time of 35:36.75 set a season ago at the Summit League Championships. Additionally, the time is just 14.5 seconds away from the regional qualifying standard of 35:00.00.
The Mastodons keep on the track this weekend, as Martinez will re-join the rest of the squad, competing at the Alabama Relays held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday and Sunday.
