Fort Wayne, IN - Coming off an exciting 76-66 homecoming win over Southern Utah on Saturday, the IPFW men's basketball team looks to extend its current three-game winning streak against visiting Toledo on Wednesday night at the Memorial Coliseum.

The Mastodons are led in scoring by senior guard Ben Botts (6-0/170/Muncie, IN) at 14.6 points a game.
Sophomore guard Frank Gaines (6-5/190/Ft. Lauderdale, FL) is averaging 13.7 points a game, and senior guard Zach Plackemeier (6-3/190/St. Charles, MO) rounds out the top-three for the 'Dons at 11.1 points a contest.

At 5-2, IPFW is off to its best start as a D-I program. With their 2-0 week, the Mastodons again have received votes in the collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25. The 'Dons received 10 votes. So far in 2010-11 IPFW has been gold when leading at the half, going 4-0 in those games. The 'Dons are also 4-0 when scoring in the 70's and 3-0 when outrebounding opponents.

Toledo is led in scoring by sophomore guard Malcolm Griffin (6-4/230/Chicago, IL) at 10.5 points per game. Freshman forward Delino Dear (6-9/205/Chicago, IL) is second on the team in scoring at 9.5 points a contest, while freshman guard Zack Leahy (6-0/185/Rossford, OH) rounds out the top-three in scoring for the Rockets at 8.0 ppg.

Toledo is still search for their first win under new Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk. The Rockets have played a schedule so far that has included #13 Illinois and #22 Temple. Toledo features a very young team with seven freshman and two sophomores.
