After beginning the conference season 5-0, IPFW has dropped its last two Summit League games, 78-74 to IUPUI and 86-68 to Oakland. Freshman forward Michael Kibiloski neutralized Summit League Preseason Player of the Year Keith Benson. Kibiloski limited OU's Benson to just 10 points while scoring six and grabbing five rebounds himself. Kibiloski's emergence will give IPFW more options in the post for the rest of the season. IPFW?is tied for 25th in the nation in the latest statistics in 3-pointers made per game at 8.4. IPFW?is tied with Wisconsin. The 'Dons are also tied for 31st in 3-point field goal accuracy nationally with Arizona (38.9%). The Mastodons are 13th in the country in free throw percentage at 76.6% from the line.

North Dakota State has not lost a game this season at the Bison Sports Arena (6-0). The Bison have not been as successful on the road with just one win away from Fargo (1-8). That lone “W” came at South Dakota State on Dec. 4. Both former NCAA D-I Independents, IPFW?and North Dakota State are even at five-all in their all-time series. Each team has just one win on the other's home floor. IPFW swept the season series with the Bison last year, winning, 68-59 on Jan. 23 in Fargo and 71-67 on Feb. 18 at the Memorial Coliseum.
