Brookings, SD - The IPFW Mastodons go for their second Summit League road sweep of the season as they travel to Brookings, South Dakota to face the Jackrabbits on Saturday night at Frost Arena. IPFW comes into the contest following an exciting, come from behind, 84-80 win over North Dakota State on Thursday night.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons are led in scoring by senior guard Ben Botts (6-0/170/Muncie, IN) at 14.8 points a game.
Sophomore guard Frank Gaines (6-5/190/Ft. Lauderdale, FL) is averaging 12.3 points a game, and junior guard Jeremy Mixon (6-1/175/Indianapolis, IN) rounds out the top-three scorers for the 'Dons at 10.9 points a contest.

IPFW trailed NDSU by 14 points at the half but used strong defense and solid free throw shooting to top the Bison. It was just the second time this year IPFW has won when trailing at the half (2-5). IPFW outrebounded NDSU, 25-22. The Mastodons are 7-0 in games this year when grabbing more rebounds than their opponents. The Mastodons are 7th in the country in free throw percentage at 77.6% from the line. That figure leads The Summit League.
SCOUTING THE JACKRABBITS
South Dakota State is led in scoring by sophomore guard Nate Wolters (6-3/190/St. Cloud, MN) who is averaging 19.3 points a game. Senior guard Clint Sargent (6-4/210/S. Sioux City, NE) is second on the team in scoring at 15.8 ppg., and junior guard Griffan Callahan (6-4/200/Seneca, IL) rounds out the top-three at 10.1 points a contest.

Nate Wolters is the second leading scorer in The Summit League (19.3 ppg.) just .1 behind Alex Young of IUPUI (19.4 ppg.) Clint Sargent is eighth at 15.8 ppg. The Jacks' are tops in the league in 3-pointers per game at 9.1. IPFW is second at 8.4. The Jackrabbits also have the highest scoring margin in the league at +8.9 a contest. Both former NCAA D-I Independents, IPFW?leads the overall series with the Jackrabbits, 8-3. The Mastodons took two of three from South Dakota State last year. The teams split, winning at home, but IPFW took the rubber game of the series, 71-66 in the Quarterfinals of the Summit League tournament on March 7, 2010.
