Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW men's basketball team will look to complete the weekend conference sweep when they host Oral Roberts on Saturday night in the Expo Center of the Memorial Coliseum. IPFW held off a game Centenary squad, 76-66 on Thursday night, while ORU threw a scare into the League's top team before falling at Oakland, 88-85.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons are led in scoring by senior guard Ben Botts (6-0/170/Muncie, IN) at 14.5 points a game.
Sophomore guard Frank Gaines (6-5/190/Ft.Lauderdale, FL) is averaging 12.7 points a game, and junior guard Jeremy Mixon (6-1/175/Indianapolis, IN) rounds out the top-three scorers for the 'Dons at 10.3 points a contest.

Forwards Frank Gaines and Trey McCorkle, along with guard Jeremy Mixon, were each 6-6 from the free throw line vs. Centenary. As a team, IPFW was 24-26. That moved IPFW up from 8th nationally to 4th in the latest NCAA statistics in free throw percentage at 78.3%. Wisconsin is first at 81.9% followed by Harvard (80.6%) and Bucknell (78.8%). IPFW head coach Dane Fife went with a different starting lineup for only the third time this season. Gaines and John Peckinpaugh (who did not dress, but is expected back tonight) sat, while junior guard Antwaun Boyd and freshman forward Michael Kibiloski got their first starts in Blue and White. Boyd responded with a career-high 11 points, while Kibiloski hit a career-high two 3-pointers.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Oral Roberts is led in scoring by junior forward Dominique Morrison (6-5/215/Kansas City, MO) at 18.5 points a game. Sophomore guard Warren Niles (6-4/175/Cincinnati, OH) is second on the team in scoring at 14.0 ppg., while sophomore forward Damen Bell-Holter (6-9/205/Lawrence, KS) rounds out the top-three for the Golden Eagles at 13.3 points a game.

Dominque Morrison scored a game-high 24 points for Oral Roberts, but Oakland rallied in the final four minutes then held off the Golden Eagles late to remain unbeaten in conference play (10-0). Morrison is showing now ill effects from meniscus surgery on his left knee. Since sitting out four games, Morrison has come back to average 19 ppg. over the last three. Last time out In a back and forth game in Tulsa, IPFW led 33-28 at the half and held on to top ORU 76-63 at the Mabee Center back on December 28. It was the first win for the Mastodons in Tulsa. Ben Botts led IPFW with 20 points. Dominique Morrison had a game-high 24 for ORU. There were eight ties and nine lead changes in the game.
