Hutchings Leads 'Dons in Final Meet of Season

TOLEDO, Ohio - Led by a 65th place finish by IPFW senior Sarah Hutchings, the IPFW Mastodons closed out its 2011 season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals hosted at the Ottawa Park Golf Course in Toledo, Ohio.
Hutchings placed 65th in a time of 22:04, with Jordan Tomecek finishing second for the 'Dons with a 131st place finish in 23:00.8.
Julie Jeszenszky crossed the finish line in a time of 23:26.1, good for 151st place, with Rachel Zachar (159th/23:35.2) and Rebecca Jacobs (180th/24:08.9) rounded out the scoring five for IPFW. Amaya Ayers and Kayla Boyes placed 199th and 211th, respectively.
IPFW scored 684 team points, ten behind Ball State for 24th, and 33 ahead of Kent State for 26th.
