Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW men's basketball team returns to Summit League play for the first time in a week on Saturday at first-place Oakland. IPFW currently sits tied with IUPUI in second-place in the conference. Saturday's game can be seen locally on Fox Sports Detroit (Comcast Channel 9) at noon.

The loss to IUPUI ended OU's 20-game conference winning streak which had been a record for The Summit League. Their previous loss had come at the hands of the Mastodons on February 16, 2008, 71-66 in Rochester, Michigan. The Golden Grizzlies' 12-0 start was their best in the program's conference history. Oakland owns a 9-3 all-time series advantage over IPFW, taking an 86-68 win in Fort Wayne the last time out. Oakland has eliminated IPFW from the Summit League tournament the past two years. Oakland scores in bunches. They are fifth in the nation in points per game at 83.9 and eighth in FG % at 48.7% from the field. Benson is fifth and Hamilton eighth on The Summit League scoring rolls.
