Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW men's tennis team fell 6-1 against the Detroit Titans on Saturday evening at the Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club in Fort Wayne and now move to 5-6 overall on the dual season.

In doubles action, the Mastodons claimed the No. 1 spot over the Titans after the duo of Roberto Cabrini and Francisco Sigaud downed their opponents, 8-2. However, UDM was able to earn the doubles point after picking up victories over iPFW at Nos. 2 and 3.

The 'Dons suffered five losses in singles matches against the Titans, allowing UDM to seal the dual with a win. IPFW picked up the No. 1 position after Cabrini took down Alex Latosinsky, 6-1, 6-2. IPFW's Eduardo Sztrajtman lost the No. 6 position after a tiebreaker in the second set, 6-2, 7-6(4).

IPFW will return to action in a pair of home matches on Friday (Feb. 25) against Dayton at 12:00 p.m. and Green Bay at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club.
