IPFW Takes 26th at NCAA Women's Regional Meet

MADISON, Wis. - The IPFW top-five had just 36 seconds and 36 places between them, as the squad took 26th at the 2012 NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
IPFW had 726 points, just behind IUPUI and Ball State who each had 713 points. Michigan won the event with 41 points, while Michigan State (77), Notre Dame (89), Butler (144), and Toledo (162) rounded out the top five.
Leading the way for the IPFW six was Julia Jeszenszky, who paced the IPFW squad with a 129th place finish in a time of 22:42. Andrea Bell and Katie Simmons took 131st and 137th, respectively in times of 22:43 and 22:46, each.
Amaya Ayers placed 165th in a time of 23:18, while Anna Reibs finished a spot later for the exact same time. Kayla Boyes rounded out the six Mastodons in the field by placed 189th in a time of 24:10.
