DES MOINES, Iowa - The IPFW Mastodons return to the road on Saturday, December 8 when the squad faces off against the Drake Bulldogs in an 8:05 EST tip-off against the Missouri Valley Conference opponent.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Saturday marks the second straight home game for the Bulldogs, who host a span of six contests in an eight-game span which includes home games against N.C. Central, Eastern Illinois, Wichita State, and Missouri State.
On the year the team is 3-4 with wins over William Jewell, Rice, and Nevada, with losses to Detroit, California, Xavier, and Saint Mary's.
In the loss to Saint Mary's, an 88-73 final score, Jeremy Jeffers scored a team-high 16 points off of the bench, while Seth Van Deest scored 15, and Ben Simmons 11. Jordan Clarke pulled down five rebounds, as the Bulldogs were out-rebounded 38-to-20.
On the year, the Bulldogs have four players averaging double-figure points, led by Simons who pours in 15.6 per game. Clarke (11.3), Richard Carter (10.9), and Van Deest (10.7) are all just over the double-figure plateau. Chris Hines averages 7.7, while King puts in 6.9 per game.
Clarke pulls down 9.6 rebounds to pace the squad, with Van Deest pulling down 4.3, as the Bulldogs get out-rebounded by an average of 4.5 rebounds per game. Carter has a team-high 27 assists on the year, as Clarke has 10 assists.

IPFW VS. THE MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE
IPFW has played five previous games against teams from the Missouri Valley Conference, and has a solid 2-3 record, with three of those games, and a 1-2 record, against Indiana State.
