FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Head Coach Mike Fruchey signed four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent for the 2012 season. Andrea Bell (Celina, OH), Anna Reibs (Fort Wayne, IN), Katie Simmons (Portland, IN) and Alexa Brown (Spencerville, OH) will all run cross country for the Mastodons in the upcoming season.
"I am really happy about the women's cross country signees,” Fruchey said. “These four young ladies are high character individuals with strong leadership skills, good academic backgrounds, and great athletic potential."
Andrea Bell – Celina, Ohio / Celina H.S.
Bell competed in both cross country and track and field at Celina High School. During her senior season, Bell was an OHSAA regional qualifier. She was named OHSAA All-District and also was recognized as a First Team All-Western Bucky League selection. Her 5k personal-best time at Celina was 19:57.
