Mastodon Tennis Falls in First Round of ITA's

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Two Mastodons - Miloslava Shustova and Mayu Sato each fell in their opening matches of the ITA Regionals hosted by the University of Michigan.
Shustova fell 6-1, 6-1 to Annie Wierda of the University of Michigan, before falling to Notre Dame's Molly O'Koniewski by a score of 6-4, 6-0 in the qualifying singles consolation.
After earning a first round bye, Sato fell 2-6, 7-6, 7-5 to Ferny Angeles Paz of Ohio State.
The Mastodons return to action in doubles play on Friday, October 11.
