FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's volleyball team looks to continue its winning ways as the Mastodons host in-state rival IUPUI on October 14 for a 7 p.m. match.

• IPFW leads the all-time series against the Jaguars 25-16. The two teams have faced one another more than any other opponent in either team's history.
• The 'Dons are 7-11 all-time in Indianapolis. The two teams split their regular season matches last season, with the home team sweeping each time. The Jaguars also won in five sets in The Summit League Tournament, which they also hosted.
• IPFW has lost its last three matches in Indianapolis. The 'Dons last win came on Sept. 20, 2011 in a 3-2 match.
• Since joining the Summit League in 2007, IPFW has won 11 of the 17 all-time meetings.
• The Mastodons hold the two longest win streaks in the all-time series, including a six-match streak from Nov. 20, 2009 through Sept. 18, 2012.
• IUPUI has twice had a three-match winningest streak in the series, most recently from Sept. 25, 2001 through Oct. 3, 2003.
• Emily Spencer posted consecutive 20-plus kills matches for the second time this season over the weekend.

Spencer Keeps going...and Going...and Going...
Emily Spencer has run her consecutive matches in double-digit kills to 40, a program record. Spencer's streak began on Sept. 17, 2013 against Eastern Michigan. She eclipsed former Mastodon Fabiana Souza's mark of 26 straight from Nov. 15, 2002 through Oct. 18, 2003. Spencer also had a streak of 24 matches to begin her career during the 2011 season. She also previously had a 23 consecutive match streak from Sept. 18, 2012 through Sept. 4, 2013.

Climbing the Career Ladder...
Not only is Emily Spencer climbing the IPFW career rankings in kills, she also currently ranks 2nd among all active women's volleyball players with 1,847 kills. Her total trails only Edina Begic of UALR. Spencer was one just six juniors in the top 50 active kill leaders at the end of the 2013 season.
