FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW men's soccer team takes on the Eastern Illinois Panthers on Sunday, October 26. The match is set to kick off at 2 p.m., at Lakeside Field.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons are led offensively by Tom's nine points, coming off four goals and an assist. Austin West has eight points off four goals, while Jacob Murphy leads the team with three assists. For the year, West has 12 shots on goal, with Tom and Britt Watts closely behind, each with nine shots on goal. Of all student-athletes with at least 10 shots, Stephen Danielian leads the team with a shots on goal percent of 0.500. Additionally, Danielian scored the lone goal for the 'Dons at Wright State.
Both Cody Schweitzer and Raphael Kotzock have split time in goal, each starting at least seven matches. Schweitzer has made 37 saves, earning a .698 save percentage and a 2-5-1 record, one of which was a shutout. Kotzock has earned 32 saves and a .821 save percentage, while holding a 2-2-3 record. Additionally, Kotzock holds a 0.86 goals against average, including three shutouts. As of October 24, Kotzock is tied for 26th nationally in save percentage and 47th in goals against average. Kotzock is third in the Summit League for save percentage and goals against average, while tied for second in shutouts.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Eastern Illinois is coming off a 2-1 home loss against Green Bay, bringing their overall record to 2-10-1. The Panthers sit seventh in the Summit League with a 0-3-1 record in conference play. Their sole point came against Denver in a 1-1 tie on October 4.The Panthers are led offensively by Jake Brillhart's nine points, coming off three goals and three assists. Brillhart leads the team in assists and second in shots (22). Additionally, Brillhart leads the team in shots on goal (13). Dominic Recca also has three goals for Eastern Illinois, while Will Butler leads the team in shots (24).
Mike Novotny has seen action in 11-of-13 matches for the Panthers, accumulating a 1-8-0 record with a 1.58 goals against average. Novotny has made 40 saves, for a .696 save percentage, while assisting Ben Feltes in a 2-0 shutout over Saint Francis (Ill.). Novotny's 40 saves are the fourth most in the Summit League.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Eastern Illinois leads the all-time series 8-4-0, but fell 3-1 in Fort Wayne during the previous matchup on October 12, 2013. The Mastodons have won three of the last four matches against the Panthers, including a 1-0 overtime win on September 10, 2010, and a 2-1 victory on November 5, 2011. Both of those matches were held in Fort Wayne.The Blue and White have not fared well in Charleston, as they look to end a three-game skid at Eastern Illinois. The only previous road win against the Panthers came in a 4-1 fashion on November 3, 2003.
