FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW men's soccer team wrap up regular season with a Summit League matchup against Omaha on Saturday, November 1. The 'Dons will honor four seniors prior to the match for Senior Day. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m., at the Hefner Soccer Complex.

Saturday's match will honor four seniors which have helped propel the program over the last four years. Scott Williams, Alex Kemp, Mike Enghofer, Jacob Gerondale have helped the Mastodons reach the Summit League tournament twice over the past four season, including the No. 2 seed in the 2011 tournament after finishing the regular season 3-2-1 in league play.Who: Omaha (7-4-2, 2-1-1 Summit League)

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
IPFW wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a 1-0 win at in-state rival Valparaiso, ending a 14-game skid against the Crusaders dating back to September 18, 1986. The win was also the Mastodons' first shutout over Valpo since the same date when they pulled off a 3-0 victory. Corey Tom scored the lone goal of the match coming off a penalty kick in the 58th minute of play.Tom leads the Mastodons with 11 points coming off five goals and an assist. Austin West has earned eight points off four goal, while Jacob Murphy leads the team with three assists. Of all student-athletes with at least 10 shots, Stephen Danielan leads the team with a 0.571 shots on goal percent.
Raphael Kotzock and Cody Schweitzer have split time in net, each starting at least nine matches. Kotzock earned his fourth shutout of the year in the win over Valparaiso, tying him for second best in the Summit League. Kotzock's 0.93 goals against average and .816 save percentage place him third in the league. Schweitzer has accumulated 39 saves, including a shutout, while earning a .709 save percent.
SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS
Omaha is coming off a 2-0 shutout against Drake, bringing the Maverick's record to 7-4-2. Omaha is tied for second in the Summit League standings with a 2-1-1, but is ineligible for the league tournament due to the transition to Division I soccer.The Mavericks are led by Vance Rookwood's 14 points coming off six goals and four assists. Rookwood has earned a .474 shots on goal percentage after firing off 19 shots on the year. Mark Moulton leads the team with seven assists and 23 shots.
Josh Christensen and Joseph Ghitis have split time in the net, each starting at least six matches. Christensen has made 20 saves for a .870 save percent, earning a 0.47 goals against average. Additionally, Christensen has four shutouts on the year. Ghitis has made 21 saves for a .700 save percent, while earning two shutouts and a 1.21 goals against average.
ALL-TIME SERIES
IPFW leads the all-time series 2-1-0, including wins in the first two matches against the Mavericks. The Mastodons fell in the last meeting at Omaha 4-0 on November 9, 2013. The Blue and White earned shutout wins during the first two matches of the series, including a 6-0 drubbing in the first match of the series on September 4, 2011 in Fort Wayne. The Mastodons' last win came in the form of a 1-0 shutout on October 13, 2012 in Fort Wayne.NEXT UP
The Mastodons wait to see the field-of-four in the Summit League tournament held in Denver from November 13-15. The winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The last time IPFW reached the Summit League tournament was in 2012 after a 3-3-1 league record in the regular season.
