FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW men's basketball team will cap off its 2014 winter semester finals week with a battle against in-state foe Valparaiso at the Gates Sports Center on Saturday evening.

• Isaiah McCray, one of the smallest players on the IPFW squad, currently leads the Summit League in defensive rebounds (5.8), and ranks 66th nationally in the category.
• McCray had the program's first-ever ESPN Top 10 appearance after the team's loss at Purdue. McCray, at six feet tall, had a rediculous block of Purdue's 7-0 center's dunk attempt.
• IPFW has put together runs of 10-0 or better in six of its nine games this season, with the team putting together nine different 10-0 or better runs total on the year.
• Forbes currently ranks 18th in the country in career field goal percentage among active players.
• IPFW stands as the only team in the Summit League with four players occupying spots in the top-17 in the league scoring race, with Steve Forbes, Isaiah McCray, Mo Evans, and Joe Edwards all marking inside the top 17 overall.
• The state of Indiana is 66-34 (.660) this season among its 10 NCAA Division I basketball programs, with seven of the ten sitting with records of .500 or better, including IPFW which is 6-3.
• IPFW was picked to finish first in the Summit League in the preseason poll of the league's head coaches, SIDs, and select media members.
• IPFW's 25-11 record last year was the most wins and highest win percentage of any NCAA Division I team in the state.
• Isaiah McCray's 1.1 blocked shots per game rank 246th in the country, and are one of just eight guards in the top 250 in the NCAA in blocked shots per game.
