Women's Cross Country Finishes in 27th Place at Regionals

MADISON, Wis. - The IPFW women's cross country team finished in 27th place at the 2015 NCAA Great Lakes Regionals in Madison, Wisconsin. IPFW finished ahead of Detroit, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Valparaiso and Cleveland State.
Leading the way for IPFW was freshmen Rebecca Sippel with a 119th place finish out of the 215 runners and a time of 23:05.0 over the 6,000 meters. Emma Rafuse was the next 'Don to cross the finish line with a time of 23:23.7 in 144th place.
Breanna Fensler was the third member of the Blue and White to finish, Fensler came in 172nd place and a time of 24:02.4. Rachel Kacer finished in 190th with a time of 24:52.6 while Caitlyn Kiekhaefer came in 194th with a time of 25:12.3 to nab the final scoring number for Mastodons.
Taylor Busch also competed in the Regionals, Busch finished with a time of 27:00.4 and came in 209th place.
