After a 4-for-4 night at the free throw line at South Dakota, IPFW guard Haley Seibert ranks fifth among NCAA Division I players in free throw percent at 92.2, for games played through February 7.
Seibert has connected on 107-of-116 attempts for the year, which includes a run of 54 consecutive made. Seibert trails national leader Arlesia Morse of Marquette, who has made 111-of-119 attempts for a 93.3 percent. To qualify for the national rankings, players must make a minimum of 2.5 free throws per game and play in 75% of their team's games.
Three-Point Streak...
The IPFW Mastodons have made a 3-point field goal in 489 straight contests, a stretch that ranks as the second longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Iowa State's streak is at the top of the list by making a 3-point field goal in 634 consecutive games. Sam Houston State had its 583 game streak snapped against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Feb. 7, shooting 0-of-15 from beyond the arc.
