Mastodons Travel to McKendree for MIVA Matchup

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The 12th-ranked (American Volleyball Coaches Association) IPFW men's volleyball team is set to take on the McKendree Bearcats in Lebanon, Illinois on February 28, at 8 p.m.
• The Mastodons have split the all-time record in the state of Illinois at 36-36, with the majority of the matches coming against MIVA foes Loyola, Lewis, and Quincy.
• The 'Dons are currently ranked No. 12 in the AVCA Top-15 Poll.
• Saturday will mark the second meeting between IPFW and McKendree. The Mastodons won the previous meeting 3-2 earlier this year on February 21.
• The Mastodons will play 13 matches with teams which were ranked or received votes in the AVCA Preseason
Top-15 Poll, including two matches against defending NCAA champion Loyola-Chicago.
• Mastodon head coach Arnie Ball is in his final season wearing Blue and White before entering retirement. Ball has the third-most wins (562) among active coaches and the fifth-most overall. Ball was inducted into the AVCA
Hall of Fame in 2012.
