No. 13 Mastodons Take a Three-Match Carolina Swing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The 13th-ranked (American Volleyball Coaches Association) IPFW men's volleyball team is set to travel to the Carolinas to face Erskine, Belmont Abbey, and Limestone. The Blue and White face Erskine on Monday, March 9, followed by Belmont Abbey and Limestone on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Each match will begin at 7 p.m.
• The Mastodons are a perfect 10-0 against Conference Carolina teams, including wins over Belmont Abbey and Limestone.
• The 'Dons are currently ranked No. 13 in the AVCA Top-15 Poll.
• Jordan Armstrong (37 assists), Tyler Golsteyn (four aces), and Tony Price (eight kills) each set new career highs against Loras on March 6.
• Omar Rivera is 19 assists shy of 3,500 career assists. Rivera sits third all-time in IPFW history in career assists.
• The Mastodons will play 13 matches with teams which were ranked or received votes in the AVCA Preseason
Top-15 Poll, including two matches against defending NCAA champion Loyola-Chicago.
• Mastodon head coach Arnie Ball is in his final season wearing Blue and White before entering retirement. Ball has the third-most wins (563) among active coaches and the fifth-most overall. Ball was inducted into the AVCA
