BROOKINGS, S.D. -- IPFW, ranked No. 20 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25, will play a Summit League men's basketball road game at No. 15 South Dakota State University on Thursday night, January 14, at Frost Arena in Brookings, South Dakota beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The Mastodons (14-4, 3-0) of second-year head coach Jon Coffman have been led in scoring by junior Mo Evans/Indianapolis (16.9), redshirt-senior Max Landis/Indianapolis (15.9), redshirt-freshman John Konchar/Chicago, Ill. (11.3) and senior Joe Reed/Greenwood (10.5). The Jackrabbits (13-4, 2-1) are coached by Scott Nagy, who is in his 21st season, and have four scoring in double-figures: seniors Deondre Parks (16.9) and George Marshall (13.4), along with redshirt-freshman Mike Daum (12.6) and senior Jake Bittle (11.4).

Landis scored 19 points to lead IPFW to a 65-64 Summit League road victory at Denver in Colorado. The game was tied five times early, the last at 14-14 with 8:03 left in the first half, before the Mastodons used an 11-3 run to lead 25-17 at 4:25, getting three-point field goals from Evans and DeAngelo Stewart, off the bench. IPFW took its largest lead of the period and the game at 31-22 with 1:20 on the clock, following a pair of free throws by Michael Calder, and it was 31-24 at the intermission. Brent Calhoun, Stewart and Konchar each scored seven first-half points. The Mastodons maintained their advantage to start the second half, leading 49-41 with 12:56 left.
