Fort Wayne Women’s Cross Country Takes Sixth At Greater Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Mastodons put together a sixth place performance in the blue race at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday (Oct. 1). The women's race had 48 teams entered. Fort Wayne finished with 276 points.
Emma Rafuse ran a time of 18:57.03 in the 5K race for 29th among 406 entrants. Morgan Blyly finished in 37th, stopping the clock in 19:01.80. Rebecca Sippel was 50th, notching a time of 19:19.62. Kailee Schoof earned a 70th place finish, recording a time of 19:31.12. Breanna Fensler was 90th (19:40.33). Thanks to a time of 20:35.93, Hannah Aschliman was 200th. Danielle Frank finished in 20:37.44 for 202nd.
Grand Valley State won the team championship.
Fort Wayne is back in action on Oct. 15 at the University of Evansville Invitational.
