Men's Preview:
The Fort Wayne men's cross country team returns to action after a strong showing at The Greater Louisville Classic on Oct. 1. Sam Williamson led the 'Dons with a time of 25:53.03, followed by Bret Unger with a time of 26:28.93. The Mastodons will travel 10 runners to Evansville on Saturday. The Angel Mounds State Historic Site Course has been home to the Evansville Purple Aces men's and women's cross country teams since 2014. It was designed by Evansville head coach Don Walters.
 
Women's Preview:
The 'Dons are back on the course after last running at the Greater Louisville Classic on Oct. 1. The Fort Wayne runners were led by sophomore Emma Rafuse with a time of 18:57.03, followed closely by freshman Morgan Blyly's time of 19:01.80. Fort Wayne ran in Evansville's event last year, finishing fourth among 10 teams. Rafuse took 13th in the race. Saturday's race will be the final event for both Mastodon squads before they head to the Summit League Championship in Macomb, Illinois on October 29.
