Rafuse Leads Fort Wayne Women’s Cross Country At Regional

MADISON, Wis. – Sophomore Emma Rafuse led the way for the Fort Wayne women's cross country team at the Great Lakes Regional on Friday (Nov. 11). The University of Wisconsin hosted the event.
Rafuse finished 108th with a time of 22:17.5. Kailee Schoof was Fort Wayne's second best performer in her first career regional event, finishing in 22:52.5 for 154th. Another freshman, Morgan Blyly, earned 156th (22:53.9). Rebecca Sippel stopped the clock in 23:17.5 for 175th. Hannah Aschliman was 201st (24:31.7). Caitlyn Kiekhaefer ran a time of 24:55.3 for 206th and Danielle Frank finished in 25:16.8 for 210th.
The 'Dons took 27th at the 6K race with a score of 794.
Friday's meet concludes the 2016 season for the Mastodons
