63 Bench Points Help Fort Wayne To 107-59 Win Over Siena Heights

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Five Mastodons finished in double-digits on Monday (Nov. 28) as Fort Wayne men's hoops defeated Siena Heights 107-59 at the Gates Sports Center.
Bryson Scott, fresh off being named The Summit League Player of the Week, scored a game-high 16 points. Charles Ruise Jr. tied a career-high with 15 points while grabbing a career-best seven rebounds. Xzavier Taylor added a career-high 14 points, making 6-of-7 from the free throw line. Jordon King added 13 points, also a career best mark.
Mo Evans dished out seven assists with no turnovers and 12 points in 23 minutes.
As a team, the 'Dons shot 40-of-65 (61.5 percent) from the floor.
Siena Heights' largest lead of the game was a single point. The 'Dons exploded out of the locker room in the second half with a quick 18-0 run. Fort Wayne was 8-of-11 in the stretch while forcing 10 missed shots by the Saints.
Siena Heights falls to 4-4. The Mastodons improve to 5-2. Fort Wayne is back in action on Wednesday (Nov. 30) at Austin Peay.
