Scouting the Mastodons
Fort Wayne (1-2-0) hits the road to Green Bay (0-3-0) on Sunday. The Mastodons fell to Cincinnati 3-0 on Monday and 2-1 at Western Michigan on Friday evening in their first two matches this week. Sunday's match with the Phoenix will be the second of four consecutive contests away from home for the Mastodons. Green Bay will be the second of four Horizon League teams the 'Dons see this year after playing Wright State to a scoreless tie in the exhibition season.
Scouting the Phoenix
Green Bay enters Sunday's contest 0-3, having been shutout in all three contests. The Phoenix have losses to Missouri State (2-0), Central Arkansas (5-0) and Eastern Illinois (2-0) on their slate. Each of those three contests were on the road, meaning Sunday's tilt with the Mastodons will be the home opener for the Phoenix. Green Bay is coached by first year manager Jeremy Bonomo. He previously served as the top assistant at Cincinnati and was a head coach for Division II Assumption College for three seasons.

Thilo Körperich had a goal off a free kick in the Mastodons' 2-1 loss at Western Michigan on Friday. It was his first goal as a Mastodon.
