'Dons lead 2-0. They won 73-52 at Memorial Coliseum on Dec. 12, 2009. They also won in Grand Forks on Nov. 23, 2010 by the score of 71-61. This will be the first Summit League meeting between the Fighting Hawks and Mastodons UND is new to the league this year.

• The 20 3-pointers the 'Dons made against Seina Heights is just short of the school record for 3-pointers in a game. The 'Dons made 21 at Eastern Illinois earlier this year and against Olivet on Jan. 9, 2011. The 'Dons also made 20 vs. Oral Roberts (Dec. 31, 2016) and at South Dakota (Feb. 4, 2016).

John Konchar earned his sixth career Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor last week after recording his 1,000th career rebound. He recorded 30 points and 10 rebounds vs. IUPUI and 20 points and 10 rebounds vs. Siena Heights.

Over the last seven games, John Konchar is averaging 21.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He has six double-doubles in the stretch.
JUST TWO
According to sports-reference.com, since 1992-93 John Konchar is only the second player in all of NCAA Division I men's basketball to reach 1,500 points, 1,000 rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals in a career. Kyle Collinsworth (BYU, 2010-16) is the other. Collinsworth finished with 1,707 points, 1,047 rebounds, 703 assists and 229 assists.
