SCOUTING THE MASTODONS (3-1-0, 0-0-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons are led offensively by Matthew Lieshout. The current Summit League Offensive Player of the Week owns five goals, third best in the nation. Blake Cearns has three goals, to put him in the top 20 in the nation. The 'Dons are coming off a championship at the UTRGV Tournament last weekend. Purdue Fort Wayne defeated UTRGV 3-1 and Houston Baptist 4-3.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES (2-2-0, 0-0-0 MAC)
Northern Illinois was also at UTRGV's event last weekend. The Huskies defeated Houston Baptist 1-0 and lost to UTRGV 3-2. The Huskies own an overtime 1-0 win at Cincinnati and a 3-2 loss at Green Bay on the season. The Huskies have scored six times on the season with Nick Markanich leading the team with two goals.
