FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field program heads east to Akron on Friday and Saturday.

Teams: Akron (M/W), Ashland (M/F), Buffalo (M/F), Cleveland State (F), Dayton (M/F), Findlay (M/F), Indiana Tech (M/F), Kent State (M/F), Malone (M/F), Marshall (M/F), Mount St. Mary's (M/F), Northern Kentucky (M/F), Ohio (F), Penn (M/F), Purdue Fort Wayne (F), Saint Francis (Pa.) What To Watch For: Emma Rafuse celebrated senior day last Saturday with a win and a school record when she ran the mile in a time of 4:50.00. She also ran a time of 9:53.99 for a PR in the 3,000 meters and won the event. Rafuse will run the same events at Akron. Fellow senior Olivia Coleman took third in the long jump with a leap of 5.34 meters but will only run in the 60, 200 and 4x400 relay. Ally Bailey took second in the 200 meters (26.36) in the last meet and will run in the event again.
Up Next: Purdue Fort Wayne travels to Allendale, Michigan to compete in the GVSU Big Meet on February 8-9.
