First Summit League Home Match Set For Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne will play their first home Summit League match of the year on Saturday when Western Illinois visits Fort Wayne.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS (3-10-0, 0-2-0 Summit League)
Tor Erik Larsen is third in the nation and leads the Summit League for the second week in a row with 66 saves. He is recording 5.08 per contest. The 'Dons will host a matchup against the Leathernecks, after falling 1-0 at Omaha Saturday. Alex Frank leads the team with four goals and is tied for third in the Summit League.
SCOUTING THE LEATHERNECKS (2-11-0, 1-1-0 Summit League)
Ryan DeBois leads the team in goals and is currently tied with Alex Frank for third in the Summit League, scoring four goals in eight games. Paul Kirdorf has scored a goal on two attempts and assisted twice. Western Illinois is on a two-game winning streak thanks to victories over Denver and Detroit Mercy, which are also their only two wins this season. The Leathernecks defeated Denver 4-3. Their other Summit League loss was 3-1 decision to Omaha.
