BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer fell 4-0 at Bowling Green State on Tuesday (Oct. 22) evening.
Bowling Green opened the scoring with two goals in the first half. Kale Nicholas scored, assisted by Charlie Maciejewski, in the 28th minute. Achille Robin followed with a goal in the 43rd minute. The Falcons would add two more goals in the second half.
Purdue Fort Wayne's best chance came in the 65th minute when Mathias Mikalsen's shot attempt from nine yards out on the right side was saved. Later in the game Alex Frank had a shot blocked and a shot go high from the right side.
Bowling Green led in corners 5-3. Tor Erik Larsen had five saves for the Mastodons.
Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 3-12. Bowling Green is now 8-5-1. The 'Dons are back in action on Oct. 30 at Northern Kentucky. It will be the Mastodons' final non-league game of the season.
