The Mastodons were on the scoreboard first thanks to a run in the opening inning. Robert Young III drove in Brandon Yoho on a single.
Five Golden Eagles had multiple hits including Isaac Coffey who had four hits. Oral Roberts scored four runs in the first, second and fifth innings while adding eight in the third inning.
The 'Dons scored three runs in the seventh inning. Jack Lang, Trenton Stoner and Mohler each had an RBI in the frame.
Chase Phelps is now 1-2 after receiving the loss. He threw 2.1 innings. Spencer Strobel and Trevor Armstrong had scoreless outings for the Mastodons. Matt Gaskings is 2-1 after starting for the Golden Eagles. He went 5.0 innings.
