Women's Track Starts Outdoor Season This Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field program begins their outdoor season in Raleigh, North Carolina this Friday (March 29) and Saturday (March 30) at the Raleigh Relays.

What To Watch For: After taking a short break from competition following the end of the indoor season, the Mastodons will be back to start the outdoor season this weekend with the Raleigh Relays. Coming back from a second place finish in the 5K at the Summit League Indoor Championships, Emma Rafuse will compete in the 10K this weekend. Olivia Coleman, Ally Bailey, Savannah Girolami, and Rachel Pierre-Louis will be running in the 4x400 relay. Lexi O'Connell will compete in the 100 meter hurdles and Natalie Dye will run in the 400 meter dash. Bailey, Coleman, Pierre-Louis and O'Connell will run in the 4x100.
Up Next: Purdue Fort Wayne will head north to Kalamazoo, Michigan to compete in the Jack Shaw Invite on Friday, April 5.
