Purdue Fort Wayne Baseball Welcomes Toledo on Wednesday

The Purdue Fort Wayne baseball team will take Mastodon Field on Wednesday when the Toledo Rockets come to town.

Scouting the Mastodons (5-28):Â Garrett Mohler leads the Mastodons with 32 hits, including six doubles, two triples and four home runs. Andrew Lawvere has the most long balls on the team, knocking in five. Tyler Kissinger came out of the bullpen in relief on Saturday at Western Illinois and did not give up a hit in 1.2 innings. He also struck out three Leathernecks.
Scouting the Rockets (11-21):Â Toledo has had four hitters record on-base streaks of at least 15 games: John Servello (20), Brad Boss (18), Michael Ryan (18), and Riley Campbell (15). UT has lost 12 of its last 14 games. The Rockets will play Oakland on Tuesday before traveling to Fort Wayne. The Rockets are 2-8 in MAC play.Â
