Men's Soccer Falls To Valpo In Final Exhibition

VALPARAISO, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer dropped an exhibition at Valparaiso on Sunday (August 25) afternoon 2-1.
Valpo opened the scoring with a tally in the 19th minute. Joe Kouadio scored on the goal, assisted by Dylan Waugaman. It stayed a 1-0 game through the first 45 minutes.
Purdue Fort Wayne knotted it up in the 61st minute when Alex Frank found the back of the net. His goal was assisted by Emil Fosse. It stayed a 1-1 game until just over two minutes remained in the contest. Junta Callahan finished a header off a pass from Vukasin Bulatovic. His header gave the victory to Valparaiso.
The 'Dons open the regular season on Friday, August 30 vs. Marshall. It will be a 7 p.m. start at Hefner.
