The Golden Eagles have won three consecutive league games entering Saturday's contest. ORU defeated North Dakota State 79-73, North Dakota 88-73 and Western Illinois 87-70. Two of those wins were at home with the WIU win coming in Macomb on Thursday night. Deondre Burns had a game-high 22 points as the Golden Eagles shot 50.8 percent from the floor in the game against WIU.

The series is tied 11 with the 'Dons leading 7-3 at home. The 'Dons have won the last three meetings including the last five in Fort Wayne. Oral Roberts' last win in Fort Wayne came Feb. 15, 2012 at the Memorial Coliseum 75-71.

The last time the 'Dons finished a season limiting opponents to less than 70 points per game was in 2014-15 when foes averaged 67.1. The Division I era record for best opponent scoring average for the 'Dons was the 2012-13 squad that gave up 66.0 points per game.
• The Mastodons have held six opponents to 60 or fewer points this season.
• The 54 points the Mastodons allowed to Niagara earlier this year is the Mastodons' best defensive effort against a Division I opponent since allowing 51 to UIC on Nov. 18, 2017.
