Women's Cross Country Finishes Season At Great Lakes Regional

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's cross-country team finished its season at the 2021 NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 12.
The Mastodons finished 31st in the women's 6K race with 957 points. Notre Dame and Wisconsin finished first and second overall in the region and received an automatic bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 20 in Tallahassee, Fla.
Leading the way for the 'Dons was Kathy Potter, who finished in 175th place with a time of 23:17.2. Behind Potter was Brooke Neal in 181st with a performance of 23:26.2, Paige Benecke in 200th clocking a time of 24:13.2, Mercedes Sarver in 202nd place stopping the clock in 24:28.9 and Madison Langdon in 210th place with a time of 25:25.5.
Potter, Neal, Benecke, and Langdon's times were personal records.
