WESTFIELD, Ind. – Keith Larson put one in the back of the net for the Mastodons on Saturday (Oct. 29) but the Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer team fell to IUPUI 3-1 in Horizon League play.

Larson's goal in the 68^th minute was assisted by Abe Arellano. It made it a 2-1 score. IUPUI scored in the 41^st minute when Lukas Hackaa converted a penalty kick. IUPUI's other goals came in the 47^th minute and 87^th minute. Tyler Gainer scored the second tally. Josemir Gomez scored the third goal.

The two teams were even at 14 shots each. The Mastodons had nine shots on goal to IUPUI's four. The 'Dons had an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

The 'Dons fall to 1-10-3 (0-6-2 Horizon). IUPUI improves to 5-5-6 (4-1-3 Horizon). The 'Dons close the 2022 season on Wednesday at home against Milwaukee. It will be Senior Day for the 'Dons.
