Dylan Kirkwood Takes Second on Friday Night

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Five Mastodons were in action in the pentathlon on Friday (Dec. 2) evening at the Mastodon Multi Invitational at the Lutheran Health Fieldhouse.
Dylan Kirkwood took second among 15 competitors with a 3343 mark. She was second in the 60m hurdles (9.03) and shot put (10.18 meters).
Sophia Buck was fourth (3031), Marin Hart picked up sixth (2936), Dylan Konieczny earned ninth (2768) and Ramey Wilder took 13th (2597). It was the first collegiate meet for freshmen Hart and Konieczny.
Jenna Pauly of Murray State (3539) edged Kirkwood for first.
The entire Mastodon squad will be in action on Saturday (Dec. 3) for the Mastodon Opener. The 'Dons will celebrate Senior Day at 10 a.m. prior to the meet.
