GVSU Big Meet Day 2 Results Doug Raymond Day 2 Results

KENT, Ohio. / ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's 4 by 400 team broke the program at the Doug Raymond Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 12.

The men's 4 by 400 team of Brent Donaldson, Cory Waldron, Nicolas Blair, and Joe Cartwright broke the record with a time of 3:22.06. The previous record was 3:23.28, which was set back at the Horizon League Championship on May 9, 2021.

In women's field events, Selena Johnson (11.69 meters) and Louiza Kruiswijk (11.29) were ninth and 14^th in the triple jump and Miranda Haney was 10^th in the high jump (1.55 meters)

In women's track events, the 4 by 400 meter team of Sophia Buck, Jesseca Hudson-Turpin, Dylan Kirkwood, and Katie Clark was sixth (4:03.54), Clark was eighth in the women's 400 meter dash (57.90 seconds), Jordan Yanders was 10^th in the women's 60 meter dash prelims (7.84 seconds) and Brooke Neal was 13^th in the women's mile (5:23.69), 18^th in the women's 3,000 meter run (10:50.78).

In men's track results, Kobe Milledge was 10^th in the men's 800 meter dash (1.57.46) and Joe Cartwright was 17^th in the men's 400 meter dash (50.48 seconds).

In men's field events, Cody Loshe was eighth in the pole vault (4.35 meters), Luke Beehler was 14^th in the triple jump (12.80 meters), and Zyler Johnson was 17^th in the shot put (13.89 meters).

Big Meet
At the GVSU Big Meet, the 'Dons were led by Madison King, who was seventh 5:07.02 in the women's mile. In addition, Kehinde Oladapo was eighth (4:20.07), Husam Saleh (4:21.63) and JT Hodges (4:33.67) were 24^th in the men's mile, Weston Miser was 16^th in the men's 800 meter run (1:56.95).

Up Next
The Mastodons will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 19 to compete in the Indiana State University Open in Terre Haute, Ind. This will be the final meet the 'Dons compete in before the Horizon League Championships on Feb. 26 and 27 in Youngstown, Ohio.
