Mastodons Track & Field Set To Compete at Huntington and Ball State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne track & field teams are set to compete in two meets this week.
A group of athletes will travel to Huntington, Ind. to compete in the Huntington Invitational on Thursday, April 14. A second group of athletes are set to travel to Muncie, Ind. to compete in the We Fly Challenge, hosted by Ball State, on Saturday, April 16.

In sprint events, Brent Donaldson is fourth in the 400-meter hurdles (55.66 seconds), seventh in the 110 meter hurdles (15.21 seconds), and eighth in the 200-meter dash (22.43 seconds). Braxton Trittipo (50.46 seconds) and Joe Cartwright (50.93 seconds) are eighth and ninth in the 400-meter dash.
In mid-distance/distance events, Kobe Milledge is 10th in the 800-meter dash (1:57.50).
The men's 4 by 400-meter team of Donaldson, Trittipo, Nicolas Blair and Cartwright are first (3:21.01). The men's 4 by 100-meter team of Dona Fagnon, Trittipo, Blair and Cartwright are fourth (43.60 seconds).
In field events, Cody Loshe is fourth (4.45 meters) in the pole vault. Luke Beehler is 10th in the long jump (6.62 meters).
In throwing events, Aaron Martin is second in the javelin throw (61.99 meters), fifth in the shot put (14.71 meters), and seventh in the discus throw (44.72 meters). Asher Walden is fifth in the hammer throw (50.02 meters). Zyler Johnson is eighth in the discus throw (44.53 meters) and hammer throw (45.34 meters). Garrett Anglemeter is ninth in the shot put (14.17 meters), and 10th in the discus throw (40.68 meters).

Katie Clark is first in the 400-meter dash (55.95 seconds) and ninth in the 200-meter dash (25.40 seconds). Jesseca Hudson-Turpin (14.14 seconds), Jordan Yanders (14.26 seconds) and Dylan Kirkwood (14.43 seconds) are fourth, fifth and seventh in the 100-meter hurdles. Sophia Buck (1:04.43), Hudson-Turpin (1:04.78) and Kirkwood (1:04.79) are fifth, seventh and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles.
In mid-distance/distance events, Madison King is second in the 10,000 meter run (36:24.45), third in the 1500 meter run (4:40.34), and 10th in the 5000-meter run (17:43.75). Brooke Neal is ninth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (11:53.11).
The 4 by 100-meter relay team of Payton McHenry, Josefin Wikfeldt, Mariah Oberhaus and Hudson-Turpin are seventh (49.93 seconds).
In field events, Selena Johnson (12.08 meters) and Louiza Kruiswijk (11.20 meters) are first and sixth in the triple jump. Miranda Haney is sixth in the high jump (1.60 meters). Jai reed (5.46 meters) and Kruiswijk (5.40 meters) are eighth and ninth in the long jump.
In throwing events, Megan Sinnott is fourth in the javelin throw (37.62 meters), and 10th in the hammer throw (43.14 meters). Nakia Harris-Campbell is eighth in the discus throw (37.96 meters), ninth in the shot put (11.85 meters).
