Group of Field Event Athletes and Throwers Competed at Huntington Invitational

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – A group of field event athletes and throwers competed at the Huntington Invitational for the Purdue Fort Wayne men's track & field team on Thursday, April 14.
In field events, Austin Dove placed second (1.90 meters) in the high jump.
In throwing events, Garrett Anglemeyer finished third in the shot put (13.47 meters), fourth in the hammer throw (41.25 meters), and eighth in the discus throw (35.00 meters). Asher Walden finished third in the hammer throw (47.61 meters), and fifth in the discus throw (38.48 meters).
A second group of athletes travel to Muncie, Ind. to compete in the We Fly Challenge, hosted by Ball State on Saturday, April 16.
